What would you do if your child was sick and didn't have access to medical care that could save their life?
In developing countries, families are often faced with this heartbreaking reality. But we have a solution. Your generosity gives children born with a heart defect the opportunity to receive the same exceptional care our children have access to in Jacksonville. We invite the bold city to take bold action to support two children from West Africa who are receiving life-saving heart care in our city. We are ready to change the lives of two children who have no other way. Join us. |

Meet FatiFati was the first Togolese child who came to Jacksonville through The Will King Foundation. She lives with her mother, Amina, in a rural village outside of Mango, Togo. They came to Jacksonville having never experienced running water, microwaves or elevators! Because of your generosity, Fati had a successful open heart surgery and returned home to her family in Togo.

Meet SoudaisseSoudaisse lives with his mother, Safi, in Burkina Faso. They are from a Muslim family and when they found out Soudaisse had a heart defect, they prayed to Allah for healing. When their prayers went unanswered, they took Soudaisse to a witch doctor, but this didn’t heal him, either. He needed care that wasn't available in his country and travelled to Jacksonville in March 2022 where he received a successful open heart surgery at Wolfson Children's Hospital.
